What’s Powering The Deco LW Stylus?
I think that is always a good question to answer first. The Deco LW has the new X3-Smart-Chip Stylus. It delivers a fully upgraded drawing experience with a more suitable initial pressure sensitivity and a much shorter tip retraction.
What does this mean… well it gives the stylus 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity with a 60° til function. This allows for more precision when creating digital art and designs.
Because of the new design, the nib is prevented from moving unnecessarily which in turn doubles the lifespan of the stylus and provides anti-interference and steady performance.
Additionally the device comes with 10 nibs and an easy to use nib extractor!

If you decide to go wireless then XP-Pen has provided you with innovative technology to give you the best creative experience and optimize your workflow.
The Deco LW is equipped with the state of the art Bluetooth v5.0 chip. It provides you with 10 hours of cable-free creativity. This is great if you are working with a colleague who pulls up a chair next to you and asks to make a quick change. Simply hand the tablet to them without fear of a cable being yanked out of your computer.
If your computer does not have Bluetooth, do not worry it comes with a Bluetooth receiver. This comes in handy for people like me who did not request to have Bluetooth built into their PC tower (silly me).

The Design
I love nerding out about the design of devices. Needless to say, I can not express how much I love the design of the XP-Pen Deco LW.
A two-shot molding process was adapted to produce the pen tablet itself. The molding creates a smooth-looking surface.
The rubber around the edges really enhances the quality even more. It is wear-resistant and shockproof. This keeps your device safe and in tip-top condition so it performs perfectly without any worries.
The tablet itself is very slim and light weight. It is roughly 8.8mm think. The tablet is 10"x6". Like I said this device is portable. So if you want to take your laptop and XP-Pen Deco LW to your local coffee shop to work on designs you can.
There are 8 shortcut keys (buttons) that allow you to work more efficiently. Just like any other XP-Pen device, these are fully customizable. I also really like the tactile bumps on the keys so you can easily identify which button is which. Again, XP-Pen dedicates itself to coming up with designs that will enhance your workflow.
The tablet can be rotated and work perfectly for those creatives who are left-handed. I think that this is always a nice touch as I know a lot of left-handed artists and this is one feature that they appreciate.

I guess XP-Pen never leaves any stone unturned so to speak… as the Deco LW works with Windows, MacOS and Android devices. So no matter if you are Mac person or PC fan… or simply want to design on an Android device, XP-Pen has your back!
It works with pretty much every piece of creative software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Krita, GIMP, Blender 3D, Fire Alpaca, MediaBang and much much more.
