The Star G640 may be small but it packs a punch! This tablet is 2mm thick. The overall size is roughly 7.5"x6.4" with an active surface of 6"x4". One can make a tablet any more compact and lightweight.
The Power
The XP-Pen Star G640 offers up a 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. This means it will work perfectly with a wide array of software and brushes. The tablet is also highly responsive and offers up superb precision.
The tablet comes with the P01 stylus, which is battery free. Which means no charging! The stylus was also ergonomically designed to work well with both right-handed and left-handed artists. It is also bundled with 10 extra nibs.
The Star G640 works with a myriad of creative software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, Maya, 3DS Max, ZBrush and more.
Not only does it work with creative apps it also works perfectly with Microsoft Office Applications. You will be able to rock Word, PowerPoint, OneNote and more. This empowers creativity when creating teaching assets and documents for presentations.
Additionally the device works extremely well with Adobe Acrobat as well… synchronized to perfection giving the best business signature.

Now, I am sure some of you are scratching your heads and wondering what `osu!´is. It is a is a free-to-play rhythm game produced by Dean ‘peppy’ Herbert. The game has 2 million monthly users and is quite addictive as well as fun.
GUESS WHAT…. your Star G640 allows you to play this game like a champ. I know this is random… but trust me it is fun. The polling rate is really high as compared to other brands out there that offer a similar device. So playing games like this are easy.
Maybe try to avoid letting your boss or teacher catching you playing it.
The Star G640 Line Friends editions is incredibly cute. It features Brown (the bear), Cony (the bunny) and Sally (the duck). This edition also comes with branded stickers, bookmark and sticky notes.
Surprisingly, Line Friends is quite big and has even partnered with Minions for a special promotion (not related to XP-Pen). But just to show you how well known they are. Honestly the more I poked around learning about Line Friends the more I got into it.

Simple and easy to setup. XP-Pen has really made installing the necessary drivers easy with all their devices. The same goes for the Star G640. Within a minute or two you will be up and running.
XP-Pen really provides more bang for your buck as compared its competitors. They are dedicated to pricing high quality tech that rivals there competition affordably. While other brands inflate their price point, XP-Pen focuses on providing creatives with tools at reasonable prices.
Overall, I am very happy with the XP-Pen Star G640. I trust the brand and I know they really want to empower creatives. I believe this is the perfect tablet for those just beginning and pros who are the go. Either way it will not let you down.
